Proper aftercare is just as important as the piercing procedure itself. Following these guidelines will support healthy healing, reduce irritation, and help your body recover as smoothly as possible.
Clean the piercing twice daily using sterile saline solution directly from the bottle. Do not touch the piercing while cleaning.
Allow clean running water to flow over the piercing for about 30 seconds during each shower. Do not rotate the jewelry.
Visit Urban Body after approximately one month for a check-up and jewelry downsize if needed.
Avoid touching, twisting or playing with the jewelry during healing.
Do not sleep on the piercing and avoid pressure or friction.
Avoid pools, the sea, hot tubs and natural bodies of water during the first 1–2 months.
